Review On Baby Wipes...

I'm Ok so this post is a total honest review on different branded baby wipes (uk & Spain brands) I'm not to sure if any of these brands are sold in America sorry. I hope this helps some of you out!

I have tried, what I feel like to be ALL the wipes out there that I feel are on the natural/organic side of wipes. I tried them all as we all want the best for our babies and I had never needed to use wipes before so had literally no idea what brand to chose or what ones have the best ingredients or what ones will be the softest on my babies skin! Argh..so many questions & no one to really answer them! I asked so many friends and family members & the shop workers so many questions like 'which brand sells the most' & 'what did you use on me mum' & in the end I thought the only way to really find what wipes will work best on my babies skin is to try them all. SO I slowly started collecting up different brands of wipes. I also done this with napped as well which I'll review about in another post!

When your a new mum there are so many questions but no one can answer them other than yourself. I think when it comes to your babies, you as the mum, are the only one who can decide what you feel is working for them & what you feel is right. I'm just simply making this post to help out people like me who had no where to go to find out questions I wanted honest answers for :)

Side note - I also tried out the Pampers & Aldi own brand wipes as they get given to you free in your starter pack at the GP but due to the harsh chemicals in them I stopped using them. I also found that when he had a rash the pampers wipes were not helping it at all. I think if anything they irritated the rash. Pampers smell nice and you can get travel size packs which I feel is brilliant as Huggies & Waitrose own brand are the only other brands I see that sell travel packs which I can't live without in my changing bag! No one wants to carry around a massive pack of heavy water filled wipes. They weigh a ton!

• Water Wipes - I LOVE these wipes. They are 99.9% water & 0.1% fruit extract which is the purest ingredients I could possibly find in every pack of wipes I ever came across!! They don't have any smell to them really which I like & they are extremely soft & very big in size compared to other branded wipes which means you get more use out of 1 wipe so you end up using less wipes per nappy change! They have never caused Jude any rash or skin irritant & I even use them myself on my face all the time! They are the MOST durable, thickest & biggest wipes out of all the brands i tested!
You get 60 wipes per pack. They also do a travel size pack which has 10 wipes for 50p from Ocado which I now have too! They are expensive £2.50 in boots & £3.00 in Waitrose or £2.00 in Ocado which is where I order mine form and they have some great offers on them all the time like 4 packs for £10 in Ocado which is where I order mine from! I think they are worth every penny and these are the wipes I buy all the time now! I love them! They are very heavy though so I do wish they made a travel size pack but I decant mine into my Jojomaman Bebe wipe pouch and im sorted!

• Naty Wipes - I really love these wipes as well! They are unscented & Eco friendly & from Sweden. When have the Swedish ever made something bad?! Never! They are the softest out of all the wipes I tried BUT they are not particularly thick but they are very durable & 1 wipes goes a long way! They are not full of water like the water wipes so therefore are not as heavy to carry around although they have made a travel size pack of wipes now which you can order on Ocado for £1.85 for 20 wipes. They are expensive wipes I think personally..
The Naty wipes are £2.75 for 56 wipes from Ocado & also they have Naty Eco Friendly nappy bags which I also love & there nappies too but that's a whole other post haha!

• Waitrose Fangrance Free, Bottom Butter Enriched Wipes - CHEAP & CHEERFUL! They are such a good price for wipes & they are paediatrician approved which is brilliant & they are ever so soft on baby skin BUT they are not very durable! I love the Waitrose bottom butter for babies delicate bums when changing their nappies and the wipes have that bitterness enriched in them which is amazing I think!
I do feel they are a little on the dry side & i personally had to use a LOT of wipes for one nappy change as I feel where they are dry they are not cleaning enough for me but i would most definitely re buy these coz I think they are great for messy hands and face & just as a pack to keep in your changing bag or a pack to keep in the car or even at your mums house! They smell nice considering they are frangrance free too! 64 wipes and They are £1.20 from Waitrose & you can also use Ocado!

• Earth Friendly Aloe Vera Wipes - I really loved these wipes as well! They should be amazing with a mum and baby gold award on them!!
They are organic & smell lovely! I really loved using these wipes! I think they are the perfect dampness. They are not too wet & not too dry! There were really soft as well & I feel like the pack lasted me a lot longer than some of the other brands I used!
I will definitely be buying these again! You can order them from Ocado or buy from Waitrose for £2.65 which Is pricy but you get 72 wipes in a pack!

• Aleva Bamboo biodegradable baby wipes - they are enriched with natural and organic oils which I love! They are eco friendly too & can be used all over the body & face, not just the bottom! 64 wipes per pack And They are £2.99 from Ocado which is pretty pricy I know but they were that little bit more of a luxury wet wipe. You get 64 wipes in a pack which is not a lot I personally feel but They smell lovely & are extremely soft & gentle & I really loved using them! Nothing bad to say about these ones!

• Beaming Baby Wipes - I really love the way these wipes have had a lot of thought behind them (same as their nappies) and I found them really kind on the skin & they smelt nice & wasn't too wet or too dry and came in a perfect size pack & really durable too! The only thing I will say about them is that I couldn't find them anywhere else except there website to buy them & they are pricy at £3.89 for 72 wipes! They have a mum and baby bronze award so I would expect them to be brilliant! I think it's a lot of money when you go through wipes soooo quick but if you have the money they are worth every penny!! The website is called www.beamingbaby.co.uk

• bebè Wipes - I bought these in Spain (Marbella) when I was on holiday and ran out of wipes. They looked like they were good and said sensitive and no parabens which is important to me. You get 70 wipes which is great! I thought the wipes were great with the wetness and were durable but they smelt soooo perfumed I hated using them. Just knowing that they contained a lot of artificial fragrance made me not want yo has them. They were rather over powering actually. They were soft and gentle on his skin but I wouldn't use them again because of the perfume in them is not good for delicate skin. I think there were €3.00.

So all in all I would buy the water wipes every time. I know they are wetter than any other wipe but I feel they do the best job and are the most delicate on Jude's skin. I love using them on my skin too! They have the simplest ingredients so you know exactly what your putting on your babies skin and you can get them in most stores or online!

Hope this post has helped some mamas out there!!

Skin Owl Beauty Steam Review...

This Skin Owl Beauty Steam is soooo lovely!! It looks supper pretty in the bowl which instantly makes you want to put your face near it! It smells beautiful, like you've walked into a lovely florist! It comes in a handy little jar that you can re use for your own flower petals or even bath salt if you wish! This is a total luxurious product, especially for someone like me, a working mama who's always either getting muddy from the stables or getting dirty from playtime with Jude or getting muddy watching daddy play rugby! All that 'being outside' & harsh weather causes my skin to change and become very dry and irritated & this really did help with my skin when I used it once weekly. I know use it probably once a month when I have my pamper night aka my only 1 night off of mama duties in 30 days!

The descriptionA collection of detoxifying and skin-nourishing herbs and petals, this rejuvenating steam will open pores to purge impurities and aid absorption of your favourite oil or serum.

What Skin Owl Says about itBeneficial for both skin and wellbeing, SkinOwl’s stunning Beauty Steam helps to open pores and airways whilst encouraging you to carve out a few, much-needed minutes of ‘me time’. A beautiful bouquet of dried chamomile, rose, lavender and calendula flowers alongside comfrey, fennel, rosemary and nettle, this ‘steam’ not only smells incredible, but actively assists detoxification while infusing skin with the regenerative properties of these precious plants. Follow steaming with your preferred SkinOwl ‘beauty drops’, and save the herbal water as a skin-softening addition to your bath, or as a final rinse to leave hair ultra-shiny.

The ingredientsMatricaria Chamomilla (Chamomile), Rosa Centifolia (Rose), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Calendula Officinalis (Calendula), Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey), Vulgare (Fennel), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary)* Urtica Dioica (Nettle). << << AH-MAZING!!!

These ingredients are amazing! I love anything natural like this! Nothing rubbish in there. No bad and nasty chemicals that are going to upset your skin. Just simply pure, natural ingredients of amazing quality that will work wonders on your skin and will not cause harm or damage in any way. It's great for any skin type which makes it amazing to me!!

It's pretty pricy (£42) for something of such a small size but it's a little luxury. It's not something you would want to be spending money on on a regular basis so you tend to use it sparingly and only when you want a little bit of luxury in your pamper night which makes it last a whole lot longer!!

It does the job, smells beautiful & looks stunning! Total win win for me!!

I ordered mine from www.cultbeauty.co.uk (in the UK) it's an American company but I'm not too sure where to purchase it in America.

Hope you love the post!!

4moms Mamaroo Review...

There's not much to say about the 4moms Mamaroo other than the fact that it's amazing! I really love it! I was a bit sceptical at first as I was worried that if I used it all the time Jude would get used to be rocked all the time & i really didn't want him getting used to being rocked to sleep which I thought using this would do but surprisingly it hasn't had that effect at all! He just is very calm and happy when he's in the chair which is great for me. I know that when I'm rushing around trying to get things done I can pop him in the Mamaroo and he's safe and happy in there! He's moving & listening to music or the sound effects on the machine & hes playing with the hanging toy bar which he loves!

I love that I can control it from my phone & play music from my phone through the chair. I think that's amazing' there's no other chair out there that can do what this chair does. It's a little prissy at £259.00 but I really do think it's worth the money!

When Jude was little it would help him fall to sleep peacefully & he would have a really good sleep in there and he would sleep much longer than he would in his crib which was great for me when I wanted to catch up on sleep too :)!!

Hope this helps some mama's looking into buying the 4moms Mamaroo!!

Neal's Yard Baby Review...

So I've been trying lots & lots of different baby products out so I thought i would start reviewing some of them to help you out if your thinking of buying any of them!

The problem is there is soooo much on the market in every aspect of baby items it's so hard to see what one you think would be best for your precious little bundle of love!
You don't want to use anything harsh and someone people only want to use natural products but even when products say 'natural' doesn't always mean they are.

When I first found out I was having my baby Jude I researched everything I could about baby products and baby food (that's a whole other post it self) but i only wanted Jude to have the best on his skin & eat the best he can eat.

I then became obsessed with 'natural' and 'organic' products which is so complicated when you really do your research!

So I went out & looked online & bought a bunch of products I want to try on Jude.
When he was first born I only used warm water and cotton wool as new born baby skin is super delicate & anything is harsh on their skin. I actually even bought organic cotton balls. Didn't even know cotton balls could be organic but turns out they can!

Anyways, these are some of the prosucts I have tried already! There is many more which will be in another post!

Neal's Yard Products!!

Okay so if you haven't heard of them before they are an English, family run company who grow all the ingredients for their products! They are all natural and organic. They all smell amazing!! They have all different ranges from baby to mum to be, to men, women, health drinks, teas & aromatherapy!!

Their packaging is all the same which I love! Someone people get drawn to buy something simply because it looks 'pretty'. This all looks the same which in your mind won't sway your choice of purchase. You will literally buy what you actually like & not what you want to buy because it looks good on Instagram (we're all suckers for it! I defiantly am!)

I think this brand gets over looked a lot but it really shouldn't. It's, personally, my favourite company for pretty much most of my skin care, hair care, baby care & aromatherapy & now it's working it's way into my kitchen cupboards! Even my partner Josh is trying out the men's skin care range & that's saying something! They have such amazing smells to all of their products & they are all made with love & care which I absolutely love! Most brands just want to throw stuff at us to buy so they can make a profit but not Neal's Yard! They really want you to love their products & want you to want to re-buy & try more of the range & I can't see why you wouldn't want to!!

I literally L.O.V.E this brand & their products!! They saved my life when it comes to nappy rashes & dry skin on little baby's faces & anywhere on their body really!

• Baby Balm - AH-MAZING!!
Recommend to us by my uncle, who now actually sells Neal's Yard products!
This stuff really does work! It's so hard to find a product that does what it says it does! This has been used in sooo many ways! It's been a nappy rash cream, dry skin cream, saw face cream (when their little cheeks get a little saw from the cold weather) it's healed any cut or scratch Juse has had in literally 24 hours you see a massive change & in 48 hours whatever was a problem has pretty much gone! I even used it on Jude's cradle cap. I would rub a little balm on his head and leave it to soften and then when he was in the bath comb the cradle cap off and it would just come out so easily and literally in 3 days it was gone! No more temptation to pick at his head! Haha!
Me and my partner Josh both love this balm! We used it on our dry skin & I suffer from dermatitis in the winter & it heals my hands & makes them like baby bottom soft! We use it on cuts and scratches we get. My partner Josh is a carpenter & is always coming home with some kind of scratch or cut & this is a miracle worker! I even use it on my face when I get really dry skin & it's gone the next morning! My mum suffers terribly from eczema & I got her using it, she was really against it as she's so worried with what she puts on her skin & she can't believe the difference in her skin. Her hands alone are a million times better. They aren't so dry anymore and all the cracks are gone! This is a complete all purpose balm that can be used for anyone, not just babies & can be used for literally anything!! It's £11.00 which I think is amazing! We have 2 as were so close to the bottom of our first balm which has lasted all 3 of us 7 months! We had to go & get another tub! I hope they never change the ingredients or discontinue it! It smells so good as well! Kind of like olive oil! It's a little tub of magic!!

• Baby Barrier Cream - again,
AH-MAZING!! This really is such a good cream. It's helped so much with Jude's nappy rash. When he was new born he had a weeks course of antibiotics as they thought he had meningitis, which luckily he didn't, but it gave him terrible red saws around his whole nappy area & this cream worked wondered. Took around a week to 10 days to go away totally but i personally think that's amazing when I know some babies that get nappy rash and it lasts for weeks or months! But I used it alongside the balm and it all worked wonders! I use this sometimes as a hand moisturiser when I know I'm going to the stables (I have a horse) so I'm always on the hunt for a new hand moisturiser that actually works and this works!! Plus it smells nice as well! It's £15.25 which is a bargain for the amount you get. We've had our pot for 6 months and I've just had to buy a new one! Amazing!!

• Baby Powder - you can't really say much about talc. It's just talc but that's the best thing about this product. It's just talc. No perfume. Nothing else inside but pure talc. You don't see that much at all on baby talc. Every tub I picked up had said it was 'natural' or 'made for delicate skin' and then said 'ingredients: talc, perfume'. Soooo..it's not talc then! Anyone with a baby that has dry skin or eczema will know that perfume will irritate their little baby soft skin & no mama wants that! This is £5!! Bargain!!

• Baby Bath & Shampoo - smells amazing!! Smells like lavender which I personally love & is really good for sleep! I warm it up in my hands then rub it all over Jude's body & hair & leave it on for a while so the smell with fill the bathroom & I really do feel like it makes Jude all sleepy & sleep a little better! You can also use it as a bubble bath! I use it myself sometimes if mines all run out & I love it! They need to make it in a massive size!! This is £8.50 which I think is very reasonable as a little drop goes a loooong way!!!

• Eucalyptus Essential Oil - this is organic & pure. No other nasties in it! Smells lovely! I have used this sooo much! In Jude's baths when he's got a blocked nose & in his humidifier in his room when he's all stuffy & it really does help him breathe! Me & josh use it as well when one of us has a stuffy nose. We alps drop some in the bath & our humidifier! This is £5.20 which is a really good price I think!

Also Neal's Yard also have a therapy room in some of their branches & they do lots of treatments using all their products which sounds luxurious to me! They also do baby massage! Im going to try this with them & many more treatments!

Thank you for reading if you managed it all this way, well done!! Haha!

Hope this helped some mama's out there looking for great, natural & organic products for your precious babies skin!!

XOXO
